Join hosts Robin Haines Merrill and Broward County Commissioner Nan Rich at the Savor Cinema in Fort Lauderdale to "Celebrate Water!" A full day of watching the "American Rivers" series of 5 films, with special Speakers in between the films.  The outdoor lounge area will host tables of special guests with a focus on local Water issues, products and services.  Meet & Greet and enjoy the Food Truck and Seminole Pumpkin Frybread.  Free and Open to the Public, Sunday Oct.22 from 1:00-8:00pm.  Oscar-nominated Filmmaker Katja Esson will be present at the event. Robin Haines Merrill assisted with production of the "Miami River" film, which will be shown.  Other films include the Chicago, Los Angeles, Detroit, and Colorado River.  This film series was made by the ARTE Channel of Europe.

Mon, Tues, Wed, Nov 14-16, Pedro will be carving the Dugout Canoe from approx. 11am-2:30.  Stop by and watch this rare artform happening right in the gallery!  Take some souvenier cypress wood shavings with you.

Pedro will be carving the dugout canoe on April 25 & 26, Mon & Tues, approx 11:00am-3:00pm.  Stop by and watch, you can also pick up free souvenir scraps of cypress wood from the canoe.  Make or do something with the scraps, photograph it, send the photo to us and we will share on our "Interactive Canoe" social media site.  The canoe is making it's way all around the world, with it's scraps and people's creativity!

Seminole artisan Pedro O. Zepeda will be carving in the gallery on Tuesday April 7 & 14.  Times; April 7: 1:00-6:00 with Reception from 6:00-7:30pm.  April 14: 10am-3pm.
